Your son is gay? He is an abomination. That is what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah.
-
Too bad that youth today seem to embrace love and forget about sexual purity and the sin that leads them to hell.
-
Of course, your son must know that this is wrong. What are you going to do about it?
-
I hate all of this “gay agenda” stuff. They are taking over our world. They are even in the schools.
-
I am so glad that our denomination does not allow gay marriage. Those that do condone it are not “really” Christian.
-
How do you know your child is gay? They are probably just experimenting. I heard of this man who after 20 years of being gay, he changed and is no longer gay. That could be the same for your son.

You do know that this is not God’s plan.
For some thoughts to consider in your answers, see Responses to Friends, keeping in mind that answering each comment is not necessary. A good strategy is to focus on God's incredible love for each and every person and to point out Jesus' acceptance of everyone he encountered. Leaving a door open for future discussion is a great strategy, since for everyone, this is a journey.
